This policy covers data collected by the QuietAD website (quietad.online) — account creation, login, and purchases. It does not cover the QuietAD desktop application itself: the app's audit logs (who did what in Active Directory) are written to storage you control (your own network share or local machine), and are never sent to us. We have no visibility into how you use the app after you download it.

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists, and as needed to maintain accurate financial/tax records. You can request deletion of your account by emailing us — some purchase records may need to be retained regardless, for legal/accounting reasons.
Login codes (OTPs) are stored only in hashed form, expire after a short window, and are deleted/invalidated after use. We never store your actual login code in readable form.
The site uses HTTPS throughout. Login uses one-time codes rather than stored passwords. Session cookies are marked HttpOnly and Secure. No system is perfectly secure, but this is the practical baseline we've built to.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing support@quietad.online. Depending on where you're located, you may have additional rights under local law — see the GDPR section below if you're in the EU/EEA.

Our hosting provider and PayPal may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) — we'd encourage reviewing PayPal's own privacy documentation for the specifics of how they handle cross-border transfers, since that infrastructure isn't something we operate ourselves.
Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account exists, plus any additional period required for financial or tax record-keeping obligations under applicable law. One-time login codes are deleted or expire within minutes of being issued, regardless of whether they were used.
